Book three in the Goat Hill Series
The Cathedral
The Cathedral has stood tall and formidable on the edge of town for almost as long as Tranmere has existed. For some, it represents everything that is good in life, but for others, it’s a stark reminder of their own failings. For Jason, it represents a time when life was so much simpler. And now that he attends the catholic high school across the road, it’s a daily reminder of the innocent boy he once was and sometimes yearns to be.
The transition to high school was a lot easier than Jason expected. Although, there was some initial attention on the boy who helped catch the Tranmere Killer, he now feels like any other student amongst hundreds, and hopes the ghosts of his past are just that. Unfortunately, that all changes when a new student arrives at the school.

From the moment the soft-spoken boy walks into his classroom, the barrier between worlds weakens and the call from another lost soul echoes out across the veil, bringing with it a vision of an altar boy taking his own life inside the Cathedral. Jason has no choice but to follow the terrifying visions and cryptic clues to give peace to another lost soul, and to save the life of another who appears to be on the same tragic path; a quest that threatens to expose his secret to a school where those that don't fit in are bullied or shunned.

Will Jason overcome the cruelty brought about by a so-called good catholic society, or will it consume another poor lost soul?
