Investigative reporter, Nathan Turner, returns to his hometown after a personal tragedy derails his career.

Days later, the biggest flood in modern history destroys the town and the livelihoods of many of its citizens.

Not long after the water recedes, a body is discovered where the old, condemned rowing club once stood. Nathan soon learns that the remains are of his missing friend who disappeared twenty years before.

Will Nathan be able to solve his friend's death and change the perception of the town who have basely laid the blame for the mayor's son disappearance at Nathan's fourteen-year-old feet?

However, on one mid-spring day during his twelfth year, a seemingly innocuous event drastically changes his perception of the world. Jason happens upon a homemade bracelet in a paddock next to his school that links him to the spirit of a missing girl who disappeared years before. Now, driven by an overwhelming compulsion from a source outside of his understanding, he stops at nothing to give peace to those lost and lonely spirits taken unfairly from this world.

Unfortunately for Jason, when you delve into the dark corners of the human condition, especially during the late seventies and early eighties when many would stop at nothing to keep their view of Australia the same, being tenacious can have dire consquences!
